During the last weeks I've been working for the storyboard and frame sequence for my Animation for the Organic Modelling Module.
The final result is shown in this video:
Firstly, I have created the paper drawn storyboard with a quick and ugly handwriting. This always happens when I'm afraid to loose my ideas.
I'm always keeping in touch in my colleague Ryan, who will be creating the soundtracks and sound effects for my animation. I've send him an email explaining the storyboard and my ideas for the audio. So my scenes are:
Scene 1: We can see Yeti ( Mountain character). He is doing something near the river.
Scene 2: The Closeup of Yeti. He built a wooden boat and checks it out.
Scene 3: He puts the boat in the water, puts the flower inside of it and let it go.
Scene 4-5: Camera follows the boat's movement. It goes from the fast and sharp movement to the slow and calm. (From the fast mountain river to the wide, calm, valley river waters)
Scene 6: Yoko stops the boat and takes it out.
Scene 7: She takes the flower out the boat, smells it and looks on the top of the mountains.]
I think it would be a great idea to create a calm charming tiny soundtrack for the scenes 4-7. Especially for the river scenes - how it goes from the energetic tempo to calm and soft theme.
Also, I think would be nice to create some ambient sounds, for the scenes 1-3, like snowy forest sounds and wind. Maybe with the cute sounds of Yeti, while he is working with the boat.
The next step will the the actual modelling! Excited:)
